Prof. Sam Wise is happily married, has four extremely smart boys, and wants more kids. He has two cats and likes hiking, chess, and watching wrestling.

Professionally, he is an advanced general dentist, Oral surgeon, and Orofacial Pain specialist who graduated from the most prestigious dental schools in Germany and USA. Since completing his dental schooling in 1998, he has built an international reputation for his expertise in dental implant, aesthetic dentistry, TMJ, Oral surgery, and sleep apnea as well as receiving three master's and three clinical residencies in dental implant in 2011, Oral surgery in 2014, and Orofacial Pain in 2018. In addition, he is TRIPLE Board certified in Oral surgery, Dental implant and Orofacial Pain in Both Germany and USA.

Prof. Wise experienced being a clinical professor at Munster University in Germany in the implant and Oral surgery department, participating in teaching and researching. Achieving the status of Certified Trainer for dental implant for dentists by DGZI, The German Association of Dental Implantology, which was founded in 1970, awarded Professor Wise the titles of “Expert implantologist” and “specialist implantologist”.

His surgical methods are much more on the conservative end of the spectrum as he usually only pulls teeth as a last resort. In his words to patients who were advised to pull all their healthy teeth and replace them with implants, “Although I may be the best implantologist, I cannot compete with god.” His patients also find that his ideology of focusing on improving smiles has a positive and powerful impact on their overall appearance and self-confidence after their smile makeover.

Prof. Wise’s accomplishments reach out to even patents, with two of them under registration to treat sleep apnea and TMJ disorder. His unique technique proved to be very effective in treating sleep apnea, which is considered the #1 most fatal disease in the US as it is possibly linked to hypertension, hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, mood swinging, and memory issues.

Prof. Wise breaks down the myths and misconceptions about dental care, taking the stance that quality dental work should not be painful or expensive. “‘WOW!’ is what I do, and ‘WOW!’ is what I expect to hear from every patient!” stated Prof. Wise. And “WOW!” is exactly what he hears as he utilizes the cutting edge technology in dentistry like CAD CAM, Laser, 3D printed customized bone grafting, and Computerized smile design in order to bring the shine back to smiles.
